Why do I need them?:
When lowering a vehicle, the distance between the drop link mounting point and the normal position of the roll bar can reduce. In this case, using the original drop links can cause excessive strain in the drop link and mounting points which can lead to premature wear in the ball joints or failure of the links or the mounting point.
These Prosport shortened drop links will help to avoid the risk of premature wear in the drop links or failure of the mounting points.
Good to know:
Never use an air gun/air ratchet or any other power tool or similar to install nuts, always use a spanner on the flat edges provided at the base of the threaded section, to prevent the ball joint from rotating.
Tighten nuts to the manufacturer’s recommended torque setting.
Only suitable for vehicles which have been lowered by 25-60mm.
These Drop Links should not be fitted to a vehicle which has been lowered by an amount greater or lower than the above figure.
